Our Highlights from Crafting at Ally Pally, September 2016

We had so much fun at the Crafting at Ally Pally event last weekend that we just HAD to share some of our best bits for you…

With a great mixture of friendly faces from Hochanda HQ, from all areas of the business including Customer Service, Marketing, TV Operations and Buying, it was lovely to see such a huge amount of Hochanda fans – it was so lovely to meet you all! Here’s what some of our friendly helpers thought about their experience at Ally Pally;

“It was lovely to meet people I present to from the Hochanda studios and to hear how much they love our channel. Lots of viewers at Ally Pally bought in their projects to show the Hochanda staff too. It was fascinating to see how they crafted with the crafty goods I've shown over the past year.”Charlie Hopkins, Presenter

“Loved my first trip to Ally Pally – it was great to meet the people who I share my work with”Emily Bunting, Marketing Graphic Designer

“It was a real pleasure to spend some time chatting with our customers to find out what they really liked about HOCHANDA – there was some heart-warming praise which made me feel great to be part of such a special team!”Matt Wright, Head of Buying

“My favourite part about being at Ally Pally is meeting all the happy customers and realising that my good work is appreciated.”Katy Jane Larcombe, Production Coordinator

“Brilliant experience! Excellent feedback received from Ally Pally crafters! Didn’t expect this within my first week on the job!”Clare Ellis, Senior Production Coordinator

“A great weekend coupled with the pleasure of meeting our Hochanda customers.” Sue Cheetham, TV Ops Assistant

"It was great going back to Ally Pally and catching up with all the viewers we saw in April ..... It was more like catching up with friends than work. Can't wait to see everyone again next year!" - Hayley West, Presenter

"It was truly lovely to meet our customers and see them so excited about Hochanda. There was some lovely comments about our channel and it was great to hear their feedback. We all had a really fabulous time, staff and customers alike!"Loti Bradley, Junior Gallery Producer

“I absolutely loved being at Ally Pally.  The stand looked great and really showed how far we have come in the last 12 months.  To then meet so many of our customers who echoed that sentiment was quite overwhelming. Many of our staff members don’t get the chance to meet our customers face to face so it was great for them to receive feedback directly for all the hard work that is put in behind the scenes.”Lucy Pearce, Head of Marketing

We were lucky enough to have been joined by some of the big names of craft last weekend including Sue Wilson, Barbara Gray, Sue Baker, Hobby Art, Leonie Pujol, be Creative!, Bee Crafty, Pink Ink Designs and Phill Martin! We had an absolute blast, and cannot wait to see you all again at our next event!
